Most travelers tour India’s Golden Triangle. It’s a well-traveled, touristic circuit, connecting India’s capital New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Each leg of the triangle is an average 4-hour drive leading to different scenery and main sights. Perfect to get a convenient and quick flavour of colourful India!
Lucas studied abroad for a while: he stayed 4 months in India and 4 months in New York. He was studying and traveling, while I was working. A heartbreaking combination – for me. I was too busy at work to take a couple of weeks (months, if I could) off, but I didn’t want to miss the chance to visit him in India. So I took what I could: one week off. Don’t get me wrong: I wouldn’t advise to only take 7 days to go to India. But I didn’t want to let work, time and distance limit my desire to travel. 7 days of exploring is still better than 0, right? The Golden Triangle was perfect to do in a week. We even squeezed beautiful Jodhpur in our itinerary.
